Our shop is in Batavia, and the towns on the west side of Rochester are an easy drive and a regular part of our territory. Homeowners in Chili and Churchville often reach out after getting a quote from a large Rochester outfit for a system they’re not sure they need.
We work differently. The owner comes out, finds where the water is actually getting in, and quotes the minimum system that fixes it, in writing. If one wall is the problem, you get a quote for one wall. If the fix belongs outside in the yard, we’ll tell you that too.
Where your sump pump and downspouts are allowed to send water changes from town to town. Some towns want a direct tie-in to their storm drainage and come out to inspect it. Some won’t allow a tie-in and want the water released through a bubbler at the end of the line. Others don’t want anything running out toward the street at all.
Pipe requirements change too. Some towns accept the triple-wall pipe we use inside the basement, while others require schedule 40 or schedule 80. Whether you’re in Chili, Churchville, Caledonia or Avon, we check the local rules before we dig so the system is legal as well as dry.
